What command do you use to start Jack?

It could be related to jackdbus. Stop jack, then do a search for jackd related processes, if there are still jack processes running then kill them, especially jackdbus. Then try starting jack again. Alternatively reboot and it should work again. (Assuming that is what was causing the problem.)
It is possible to compile jack2 without jackdbus support which is how I got rid of it but for people running "distros" this will cause some things to stop working.

I kill
jackdbus with:
Because it auto-spawns.

Thanks Linuxmusician01
I used the pkill -9 jackdbus command and jack starts. My Delta 1010 card is now recognised and configured in Alsa and Pulse audio.
Thanks everyone for your prompt reponse
