Man, what a great lead guitar sound!

I also like the coming & going of percussion.

The video format is nice, it adds some cultural exchange quality to the music the way you're doing it. And the quality improves - I am curious, am I right that you are using some old school photography tricks there like a polarization filter for contrast-rich skies?

I almost missed this one. Nice work, my favorite thing you have shared yet. :) The drums are very thoughtfully composed.

Just a thought, it might be nice to start with a more intimate guitar sound (like a classical/nylon string guitar) and save the big tone for later in the piece to help it build.

I am curious about the sound quality on Youtube vs. Soundcloud. The Youtube version (with the nice photos) sounds much better in quality. It's clearer and more full sounding. Did you process the audio differently, or is this a difference between the platforms?

SoundCloud crushes everything down to 128k mp3 for streaming :(
Fortunately they don't do that to the source, so always make your tracks downloadable guys!

Ufug, thanks for comment! :)

Unfortunate, repair-service kill my audiointerface :o , so the sound acoustic guitar was recorded not hot :D on photo-microfone and museum ancient audiocard

Folderol, thanks for info! :)

 Eureka! Best format for future - midi! No compressed, no noise, no something lost, see notes and edit, bone forever! :!:

You can listen this composition in midi:

If seriously, in wave and flac formats you can put on jamendo.com, I was pumped to albums as they become available.

Cheers!

When I first listen to your song in Soundcloud, I kind of thought the kick drum squashes all the instruments just a bit as it sounds like a brickwall compressor is in effect and the instruments do sound too loud. An electric guitar does seem a bit too loud IMO.

And I would also save the lead electric guitar for the last as well. Shouldn't it suppose to be soft from the beginning and epic at the end?

Overall, a good start, but your song seems to be lacking in the arranging and mixing department.
