Hello from Independence, Kentucky and a question

I play keyboard, guitar and bass, and do original compositions and record them.

Am a long time Linux user as a LAN admin, and excited about what we can do now in audio!

In the past I've relied on ProTools and similar for recording, but now really liking Ardour.

The question is - requesting insights and details on doing real time audio effects.

Example Scenario: Live Stereo Output from mixer -> EQ + Compressor + Reverb on Linux -> Live streaming on Windows host [or could be live show]

Have experimented with Jackrack, and Ardour, but tutorials are oriented toward recording a track, then applying effects afterwards.

All hints appreciated.

Is the "mixer" a hardware mixer?
In that case skip ardour and use for example Carla to host plugins.

For live streaming Open Broadcast Studio is king.

Wait, you wanna send audio from Linux to a windows host?

Yes - it is an external [hardware] mixer.

The Windows example was for a streaming app that only supports Windows, if you can believe something like that still exists. :)
