real time sound processor dsp

Post by allegfede »

Hello everybody.

I'm actually a really proud user of Tomassini's Sound Solution DSP (http://winampheritage.com/plugin/sound-solution/120741), to process real time audio coming from sound card line-in, been processed and then played back to line-out for live recording, karaoke and so on.

But sound solution has 2 big problems, the first one is that it is an old winamp plug-in (and winamp is no more an active project), and the second one (BUT the worst), is that it runs on windows :-(

So i was searching for a similar, linux, open source project, but i have not found nothing like that, simple and effective.

Stereo Tools (http://www.stereotool.com/) is interesting, runs on linux also, have a free version, BUT is not open source.
So i was thinking about some kind of premade setup script for CALF or a similar.
Do someone know of something easy and effective (maybe also able to run on raspberry pi3 or other powerfull enough SOC)?

Thanks for you time, and your efforts

The site doesn't show anything except picture. Probably MySQL has been dead there.
You can use carla + jack as a host of plugins that will perform DSP.
Just route your input to the first plugin in chain and then route the output of last plugin in chain to your card's output.
You also may save/load your configuration to/from file.
