I am unable to start Audacity since I am using the KXstudio repos (and a lot of plugins from them). Audacity immediately throws up the debug report window and thats it. The important debug files are attached here - I cannot make any sense of them and can only guess that some dssi plugins may cause the trouble. However I do not want to turn my system "upside down" just to get Audacity running.
The log complains about a missing "pluginregistry.cfg" file. I tried to create both empty (touch pluginregistry.cfg) and dummy files in the .audacity-data folder, but audacity still crashes and removes these files.
