Re: Favicon poll!

If Jarle's logo would be accepted, I would require a complete forum theme to go with it and I like current forum theme.
I'm not sure about that - indeed it'd be nice to update both the favicon and the main logo to be consistent (and perhaps the title font), but beyond that I think this option fits in the current theme pretty nicely.FaTony wrote:If Jarle's logo would be accepted, I would require a complete forum theme to go with it and I like current forum theme.
Donebhilmers wrote:Yes, that looks sharp. If you look at the current site_logo.png the dimensions are 100px x 50px with alpha. If you resized yours to 50px high and knocked out everything that isn't white or black to transparent it should drop in perfectly.raboof wrote:Yeah I like that!Jarle wrote:Maybe:
Yeah, if using transparent logo from the post above. The original blue color doesn't fit with the forum theme.raboof wrote:I'm not sure about that - indeed it'd be nice to update both the favicon and the main logo to be consistent (and perhaps the title font), but beyond that I think this option fits in the current theme pretty nicely.
Maybe add additional thin border around M and the square for contrast? Currently it's merging with background.Jarle wrote:Just for fun
It is a drop-in-edition (with transparency instead of the blue in the favicon) made for example to drop over the site-header, something like this: or this: The blue header will shine through were the transparency is. Above illustrations are just quick made examples where It is dropped over a sample I took from this site header not real scaled or correct positioned.sadko4u wrote:Maybe add additional thin border around M and the square for contrast? Yeah, the fav icon died at some point. haha
Any chance this could get fixed please? LM tabs look strange and confusing without a favicon.
I finally found the time (and backups ) to put it back! Enjoy, and LMK if anything further is missing!
Thank yoooou!
