Waverazor will be available in its first incarnation next week. Waverazor is a synth made by Taiho Yamada (Alesis Andromeda A6, M-Audio Venom) and his newly-founded company Media Overkill (MOK). There will be no editor (700+ params in a single oscillator) in the first release. People who get it at the first release ($75) will get the editor free (which will be $150 at that ttime for the full synth).

Looks cool but the sounds/noise coming out of it (in those demos) literally gave me a headache...
It doesn't sound musically useful at all :?

It is termed as agressive. So that's where I see the challenge. I all NAMM presentations there were once in while software waves being made, so I think all hope is not lost. Sometimes I listen to music in which a good amount of noises are used, in such a way that it blends OK. So I would like to explore a more edgy side of things and see how it can fare.

Earlier this week there was a communication from MOK saying that there will be a delay in the first delivery of Waverazor. Very busy and all that. Will be later on this month.
