Midi file loop in Carla?

Hello,

Could the Carla 'MIDI File' plugin include an option for looping the file? (in the same fashion 'Audio file' has one).
I appreciate that there exists a 'MIDI pattern' plugin which does loop, but one cannot load a SMF into it.
Am I missing something?
