qtractor's DSSI plugins output delay

I use qtractor for creating my guitar and bass karaoke.
I edit midi sequence and use some wav files to do this, and not using recording feature.

I use LV2 linuxsampler plugin for drums, and DSSI fluidsynth plugin for keyboards or something.
I noticed keyboard notes are little bit delayed for the drums, and I don't know why.

How to fix this? Thanks.

I have no delay problems with dssi plugins. You could use the lv2 version of fluidsynth, it's in the CALF package, and see if you experience the same delay.

Or you could load your sf2 soundfonts into linuxsampler instead of fluidsynth. Linuxsampler can load gig, sf2 and sfz.

Or you could use Carla as a replacement for both linuxsampler and fluidsynth.

Thank you for the reply and sorry for the lack of some information.

I can't explain, so I attached my .mid file and .mp3 is placed on
http://www.mediafire.com/download/p7ciw ... rstorm.mp3
I found that keyboard is little bit delayed around 1:05.0- 1:40.0.

$ qtractor -v
Qt: 4.8.6
Qtractor: 0.6.5

No, I have not. I tried but there's no LV2 plugin for fluidsynth on my qtractor.

I'm new to qtractor, so I might miss something...

yep, probably missing a lot whole year by now.

qtractor v0.6.5 is rusty bits, kinda :)

wait, are you using a mp3 somehow? please don't. you'll get way better timing results if you convert it to any other format (wav, flac, ogg, etc.) and use it instead--you can even do that inplace from qtractor: select the mp3 audio clip and hit Clip/Export... (or better yet, Clip/Merge... will do the same but replace is immediate).

Thank you for the reply.

I forgot my qtractor's version is little bit old.
I'll use recent one.

Anyway, by using LV2 linuxsampler plugin for FluidR3_GM.sf2, delay was fixed!!!

I'm using .wav files and not using .mp3 usually.
It's for show you how the delay was.

Thanks!!!

Yes, it's delayed.
- Do you have any plugins in additioin to fluidsynth in that e-piano track?
- Are the clips properly aligned?
- Is the e-piano track routed to an intermediate bus before it's routed to Master?
