Re: jackass
I plan to move jackass from vstsdk into the new dpf framework (thus also providing lv2 versions)
I think we have all waited long enough , please could you fix Jackass for win64

I'll give you benefit of the doubt, but that sounds really demanding. Lets not forget: devs don't owe us anything.Taccess wrote:I think we have all waited long enough...

Re: jackass
Sorry did'nt mean to sound demanding at all
JackAssx64 is something that needs to be fixed somehow and obviously by someone who can nail down the problem .
I am just trying to get that someone to try harder because it can be done and more than likely they are staring the solution in the eye and just not seeing it , which is almost always the case when you get stuck . Also spirits dwindle in those circumstances and time trickles on and before you know it years pass on by and the mentality of the solution becomes a deep dark hole . sounds a lot like someone i know
I will ask again , please find a solution soon i believe in YOU !

Re: jackass
digging yourself in deeper...
I'm not a coder, but my un-educated guess is that anyone who has released
a recognized linux audio app, has invested between 10,000 and 20,000 HOURS
in learning to code that well. And I suspect those are low numbers, since cross-platform
developement must be akin to running a marathon, where the finish line keeps moving
further away, in bizarre and unpredictable directions.
Cheers

OK, THX 4 --info.
It is likely that MIDI_input can implemented in the distant future?
