Hello LinuxMusicians!

Post by axmasta »

HI All!
I'm a Canadian producer & instrumentalist in my mid 20s. I have a fairly sizable homelab that I use for all sorts of IT things and would love to take some of the production burden off of my MBP and get it running on my more powerful Fedora Workstation

I'm incredibly noobish when it comes to assisting with the creation of software (day job is application support on a big corp network) but if anyone is working on Ableton Live/Pro Tools 10(or 11)/Maschine MkI comparability I'd be happy to lend a hand in any way I can :)

Production pseudonym is Constrictor (Soundcloud), my side business for mixing and studio sessions is Sage Studios (Facebook), and I love just about everything except a large subsection of Country music :P

Glad to have found you all

Hi!

Welcome, you'll find a few fellow Canadians here (myself included) and many more great folks from all over, I also heartily agree on the Country music comment... I'm sure you've seen this... if not enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FY8SwIvxj8o
