Hi Guys,

I am a drummer who is slowly moving over into playing with loops and clicks.

I am learning bass, and trying to support my wife who is a worship leader who does Guitar, Piano, singing, bass and drums.

My desktop is OpenSuse and I am using LMMS simply because it was available to me.

I am considering dual booting my OpenSuse with a Ubuntu variant with Music focus but so far I dont see the purpose.

Oh, and I am currently in possesion of triggers and mesh heads for my extra kit so I am thinking about making it into a DIY digital kit. so if anyone has experience, I would love to hear about it.

Looking forward to having a look around the site and see awsome post from awsome people.

Hi Dave,

Welcome to LM !

The usual first suggestion, be sure to check out this site :

http://libremusicproduction.com/

It's a complement to this site, lots of useful information on both.

Best,
