VST plugins in Audacity?

Hi,

Is there a way to use VST plugins in Audacity? I tried using VST-Enabler (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/fa ... st-enabler), and copied the .dlls into the plugins folder, but they don't show up in audacity's effects section (might be only for windows?).

I use a few VSTs in windows and would like to use them in Audacity in linux too.

Hi

I dont now about host VST's in audicity, but to use VST's under Linux you can use dssi_vst or fst.
You can look at this thread, were is a discusion about vst host's for linux.
