I finally made the switch to Linux after making audio on Windows for several years, I had many reasons to switch and was ultimately enticed by the community. I thought that I would try Arch because I really enjoy the minimalism and customizability that they offer (and require), but after attempting to install it twice (while following the beginner's guide to the teeth) I kept getting inexplicable errors. Oh well, so I'm on (you guessed it!) Ubuntu.
I'm excited for qtractor, but right now I'm still trying to get my system kinks worked out.
I 've been playing guitar since I was 11 and have picked up drums, bass, keys, harmonica, and some singing along the way. Aside from music I'm a writer and a starving college English Major, I'm also living in Atlanta.
I think that covers it.
