I've messed up with libjack. I've installed jackd2 componets compiled
from sources to /usr/lib (Please never, never, never do this again!)
instead of more safer /usr/local/lib. It was wrong for m e to do so.
Codence is not working properly anymore.
Cadence doesn't lists any Drivers in the Configure->Drivers tab.
I've tried to reinstall cadence/jack/alsa but nothing seems to help.
I've no sound and I don't know how to fix that.
thanks in advance!

Re: Help! Cadence does not lists ALSA in Driver tab
That was it! Thank you so much.
I wish I new the answer a week before.
I've reinstalled system kind of couple dozens of times.
It can be hard to tune the distro for audio without breaking it.
By the way have you ever encountered a problem of installing
KXStudio or Ubuntu Studio 14.04? I've burned iso to DVD. Then I installed it
It was fine but at the very last moment it says something like "failed to install grub2"
and it breaks the installation and the next time I reload I can see only grub prompt
that asks me to give commands to it. No menu to select an OS

Re: Help! Cadence does not lists ALSA in Driver tab
on Uefi? Yes I think so.
So the problem would go away if I connect to the network before installing?
I just like to know for the future trials. Know I have a working system again
thanks for your answer. But just in case I need to reinstall it later
