Hello everybody. I am so new to Linux that I don't even have it installed yet, but I plan to run a dual boot. I have so many questions and don't even know where to begin; I am better with hardware than I am with software as far as computer setups go. I am a Christian singer/songwriter that has been using Cubase for approx. 5 years and am really used to that layout and my VST plugins so I'm scared I won't be able to do similar things with Linux! Anyhow, to hear some of what I've written, head over to: http://www.indieheaven.com/artist_main.php?id=96669 Most of it is from when I sang southern gospel, but that's the tiniest part of music I enjoy.
HELP! And thank you!

Hi there, your tracks are pretty good!
Welcome, and prepare to learn a lot more about computers if you're planning on using Linux for audio production. It's definitely very usable for audio production but in my opinion it's less straightforward than under OSX and Windows.
Don't let that discourage you, just be aware that there's going to be a steep learning curve involved and formal documentation is lacking by comparison to OSX and Windows environments.

Thanks asbak. Actually, the majority of the tracks were recorded at a studio in Knoxville, TN. The songs that are more rock sounding are from my own recording "studio" using Cubase, etc. All songs, however, are my own originals.
