Installation: cannot open session-Call to lnusertemp failed

Post by Rodolphe »

After fresh installation of KXStudio 14.04b 64bits, the first login (opening session in graphic mode) shows this message in a popup :

Code: Select all

Call to lnusertemp failed (temporary directories full?)
Then I click on OK, popup close, so the session do... !

Any other people invloved in this installation problem with KXStudio ?

Similar problems are reported under Kubuntu distrib, sort of .kde folder corruption, is it the same problem ?

14.04b is the wrong ISO to install though, where did you get that from?
Please use the ones here, http://kxstudio.linuxaudio.org/Downloads#LiveDVD
I downloaded it from the page you said :
KXStudio 14.04.2 Live-DVD - 64bit (http://download.linuxaudio.org/kxstudio ... _64bit.iso)
I see that the first link before the mirrors is broken now, but I used to download it few weeks ago.
Link is to be updated !

I'll try to download new ISO from github mirror #1 and reinstall all.

Thanks.
