Looking for vibrating strings synth

Hi, I am new here, so please excuse me if this is a bit offtopic on this forum.
I am looking for quite specific sounding instrument. Here is a sample:

It sounds to me like quaking violin + some choir-like drone pad.
Maybe someone came across of similar synthesized sounds?

Hmmm sounds like it could be some sort of stringed instrument sample like Guitar or even Banjo processed with Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch

I'm not sure if this is the best up to date link for the program. I think it might be in the KX studio repositories.

The sound could really be anything from violin to guitar to organ just slowed down very much. Hope this helps.

These are tremolo strings.
