Please provide guidance regarding reaper and wine install.

I installed the KXStudio distro yesterday. So far I really like it. Of course there is always a few things to mess with (thanks Ubuntu), but it is running well, I think. :-)

I mistakenly thought that wine and Reaper were included in the distro, but it seems that is not the case. I tried looking around for a bit myself before asking here, but could still use some guidance. I did look at this page:
http://wiki.linuxaudio.org/wiki/wineasi ... s[]=reaper

It seems the steps are out of order.

I run an AMD 64bit system. I installed the 64 version of the distribution. Do I simply just install:
  • wine-rt-amd64
    wine1.6-amd64
    wineasio-amd64
Do I (should I) install:
  • playonlinux
    kxstudio-meta-wine
    carla-bridge-wine64
I have never used wine before, but have messed around in Linux a fair bit (admittedly has been a while). Should I use a front-end of some kind?
Is there a easy howto somewhere on installing and running wine?

Lastly, I was able to easily start Jack and use ALSA to play some tunes on Audacious. I must be doing something right. :-)

Thanks for responding.

Will this affect whether or not the 64 bit packages are installed?
