Hi everyone,
I have just run and installed KXstudio in a partition (I have other OS'es on the GRUB). When I try to run KXstudio, it does not take me to the graphic mode, it runs the line-by-line boot protocol and take me a tty (tty1) and ask me for login. I enter all the username and pssw I typed on the installer but it does not work.
How I boot normally (graphic mode) the KXStudio???
Thanx in advance!

Re: KXStudio Installation - help
I have resintalled formatting the sda (ext4) where I placed KXstudio first time. I noticed the installer crashed when creating user. No more information about the crash was displayed, just to send bug to developers. I think it happens the same on the first installation. I don't know how to proceed...
Re: KXStudio Installation - help
I am using: KXStudio 14.04.2 Live-DVDfalkTX wrote:Which ISO file did you use to install?
I think there's a bug when installing and selecting your language to be other than non-english, but I though that was fixed...
I selected Spanish when installing. The installer crashes when creating user. No more clues so far. I have just burned another liveDVD, checked md5sum ok, using (manually) a partition I used before for the first installation. Should I set the installer in a different way?? English? partitions (I used both auto and manual, without success)? Should I try a previous version of KXs?
Re: KXStudio Installation - help
I tried to install the english language version, but the same results: installer crashed when creating user.
Any suggestion??

Re: KXStudio Installation - help
I have the same issue with the latest kxstudio installer. The installer exits without a prompt and I get the black login screen after the reboot and update-grub.
I have left the language to English US so this shouldn't be the case.
I also tried installing it on a primary partition instead of a logical one. Same result.
I have been using the 32 bit installer on a manual ext4 partition (ubuntu 15.04 already installed) on the system.
@Nach, did I you manage to install it after all?
