Jessie is stable

I use kxstudio with Debian wheezy and I think Debian and kxstudio is an awesome combination
A few days ago Jessie was officially released as the new stable version.

Is there anything to consider when upgrading from wheezy to the new stable Jessie?
On the website it says:
"If you're running Debian Wheezy, consider installing the backports repo package as well: kxstudio-repos-backports.deb. (*only* for wheezy)"
Does that still apply now that jessie is the official stable version?

I had a performance problem when I switched to Jessie ( in my case via a clean intsall) because Jessie does not have an rt kernel. I got round this (after excellent advice on this forum) by installing the liquorix kernel which can be found can be found here: http://liquorix.net/

Absolutly, although beware that Liquorix kernels may not include your wifi driver.

Thanks for the replies
I found some threads about the rt kernel problem. Its all a little confusing, since I'm still a bit of a noob when it comes to linux. Right now I use debian wheezy with a Kernel Version 3.2.0-4-rt-amd64.
The liquorix Kernel repositorie seems to be for sid. Does that require additional configuration in Jessie? The instructions sound very simple.

@falkTX: You seem to be happy with a plain preinstalled Jessie Kernel, or did you do some patching?
Or don't you use any USB audio or midi devices? Thats where it seems to be most relevant. I use an Edirol UA25.

Liquorix is targeting sid. This means that its only a matter of time, when its dependencies will not be satisfied anymore. Its not a long term solution.
PS: maybe its time when certain OS developers to start compiling custom kernels
