KXS and Ardour 4.0.0

Post by leokin »

Ardour 4.0.0 is now offered, I see.
What is the best method of using it in KXS and Linux Mint 17.1 ?

Can't wait to try it out!
How stable is it? Can I already use it without crashes and the like, has someone tried?
Keep on rocking in the free world!

Update your software sources to be able to install ardour4.
Unless you're using the kxstudio meta-packages you'll have to install "ardour4" manually.
(The old ardour3 package will remain, uninstall it if you want)
What is meant by " kxstudio meta-packages"?
