In the QjackCtl Connections window, I can see a set of MIDI clients and within each client a set of MIDI ports. For example, my keyboard shows up as "PCR", which has three output ports, "midi/playback_1" to "midi/playback_3". So far, so good.
The problem is that when I try to add an output socket in the Patchbay window there is only one client, "system", which contains eleven output ports, "midi_capture_1" to "midi_capture_11". So how am I supposed to identify which of these ports belong to the keyboard? I guess I could find it by trial and error, but what if I then start another MIDI client and the numbering changes?
