Virtually any midi keyboard will work with linux, midi keyboards are quite standardized. The only thing that sometimes is an issue is keyboards with many extra buttons and sliders that may require a proprietary program for configuration. A USB keyboard will show up as an ALSA midi device ("Alsa" tab on qjackctl).

I have an M-Audio Axiom Air Mini 32 and I like it.

Pros:
* 32 keys rather than 25.
* it has some cursor/arrow keys to which I haven't found any use yet, but I know I will.

Cons:
* I am not happy with the keys; they're small and clumsy. But I was on a budget. :-\
* It can't be powered by AC, only over USB. It doesn't affect me because I use it either with the PC or a tablet, and my tablet doesn't charge over USB, it has a separate port for charging, but keep that in mind in case you want to use it with a tablet that only charges over USB, the tablet will have to feed the keyboard off its own battery, which puts a limit on how long you can use it.
