Hi! Longtime interest in Linux and music production but only combining the two fairly recently. Got Ubuntu running on a 2010 Macbook Pro with JACK thru a Focusrie Saffire Pro24 (have to disable wifi, tho). Enjoying playing around with capable software like Ardour, Calf suite, ZynAddSubFX, Guitarix, etc. LibreMusicProduction has been very helpful to me for distilling the software options and workflows.

I'm particularly interested in using Linux for live electronic and experimental music performance. Maybe using microcontrollers for custom control surfaces and integrating the new Raspberry Pi for music visualizations... just thinking out loud. Anyways, hoping to get to know this community and eventually contribute something to it.
