Debian 8 comes with pulse

Hello,
I do have an E-Mu 1616 ( pci) soundcard what works under ALSA.
Yesterday evening I installed Jessie, but this has standard Pulse.
What is the best option, delete all pulse-packkages and install alsa, or is it better to leave pulse and install alsa?
Or... is it better to do a netinstall and not install pulse from the beginning.
I have all the options, because Jessie is just besides Wheezy, what I keep using untill Jessie is ready.
