help with id3 tag musical genres

I'm trying to get some of my music ready to promote to some streaming radio stations, I want to make sure I have my genres set right in the id3 tags so they can easily classify it.
Problem is, I don't really understand the difference between a lot of these genres. I've always just written music and not put a lot of thought into what genre I was writing (I'm sure it fits into something though, I'm not /that/ original).
I've googled a bit but I can't find a site that just succinctly describes the genres of music (at least, the ones available as id3 tags) and the differences between them. Anyone know of such a resource?
