carla crashes after variable amounts of time,...

Post by klaxxoncoatl »

Hello.
I am new to kxstudio, and i like the work which has been done with it.
However at the moment,
Carla likes to crash.
Zap just shuts down.
How do I get you more information to determine anything I can do.
How do I access logs and whatnot for your helpingz.

I am using kx studio, installed v 12, updated on nov28. with a full update.

am interested in folowing this up, as i want to use kx as a reliable robust tool for live use.

Lets go.

sorry about that..
what I mean is that it exits without a message or any warning.

sometimes this causes what sounds like a sampleblock (256 or 1024 samples in this case) to hang and repeat,
requiring a reboot.

Other times it just exits and it is possible to reinstantiate carla.

where do i find a log for it in kxstudio?

checking version now.
assume beta2 until further notice.

yes.
reverted, however it is the features of the beta whic I am after, noteably the nterface is much improved, eg: insertpizhere midi tools are much easier to use with the beta, and of course vst.

again thanks for making kxstudio .

I am interested in doing anything i can to help, which means i will need to be directed to instructions.

as soon as carla2 is ready, the better as far as i am concerned.
