Hi There!

Post by ml2mst »

I came across this site via the NedLinux forum.

OK, I've been a one man band, since the late 1970's and threw my instruments into the closed (actually donated them) in the early 1990's in favor of Trackers.

I've said a dozen of times I'll quit making music, but some way or the other I seem to be addicted to it.

Using several GNU/Linux distributions since 1998 and at last there are a couple of cool tracker editors for Linux by now.

I release my trax on audio CD and as MP3 files on Soundclick, under the Creative Commons, SA attrition. I use Audacity for final Mix and effects.

But I started playing with a couple of those virtual synths, pretty interesting stuff. So as a matter of fact, I won't be quitting any time soon :D

Cheers!

Welcome of course!

I'll check your recordings and hope we can learn from your experience...

.. I don't understand why people change their real instruments for software though....
