Non-sequencer bugs?

Post by ikerobme »

Hello All,

I recently built the latest version of the non suite, which is just great I think. I'd really love to be able to use non-sequencer (v. 1.2.0) the way it seems it was intended, but have hit some snags, was wondering if anyone else is using it, and if my problems with it are not unique.

I cannot seem to figure out how to shorten patterns once they have been lengthed. Is there a way to do this? It seems like this should not be necessary, because it looks like you should be able to change the pattern length in the phrase editor, however, I am unable to do this. When I left click on the pattern region and hold the mouse button, the region length changes to the position of the mouse cursor, but when I release the mouse the region reverts to its original length. Has anyone else experience this? I'd love to figure this out, and if I can, to make this my go to sequencer.

Could this be some library issue on my machine?

All the best!

Lowercase t will trim a pattern. It only works if there are notes to trim to. I was hoping it would work more based on the range markers but alas it does not. So for example if you want to trim down to one bar you might need to add a note at the last beat of the bar before hitting trim or else it will trim to the current last note.

Incidentally it is documented under Help->Keys when in the non-seq window.
