reworked cellos

Post by j_e_f_f_g »

I was never really satisfied with my cellos. They had some tuning issues. So I decided to completely redo them, retuning, cross-fading, envelope shaping, filtering, compressing -- every trick in the book. The result is a vastly improved cello section.

Another cello update. Now there's pizzicato as well as legato.

Hi,

I'm neither a keyboard player nor terribly skilled at MIDI but I used this cello SFZ here: https://soundcloud.com/glen-macarthur/o ... -macarthur

The 'drums' are the samples of my Meinl cajon and Jeff's Cello SFZ was hosted in the Carla-Rack LV2 Plugin in the latest Ardour 3.5.403 release. I'm sure the song isn't everyone's cup of joe but the cello sounds and fits in quite well.
