Cadence Feature request

Amazing work on Linux this year from many individuals!
I'd love to see the very simple audioadapter feature of Jack added.
At the moment I have 3 speaker systems. One obviously works at moment as the selected configuration in Cadence. In QJACKCTL its easy to run a pre-loading script to use audioadapter feature to activate my 2nd soundcard and speakers, then 3rd card and speakers. This is so great for ABing playback.
Occasionally Linux does the silly thing where the order of loaded Soundcards gets muddled. Obviously you have addressed that in Cadence and could hopefully apply the same card selection process to activate other devices. Obviously, if I add a card via audioadapter and save LADISH studio, the added cards don't get reloaded.
example of command:
#!/bin/bash
jack_load -i "-d hw:1" 2496 audioadapter
This loads my M-audio 2496 and allows Carla to patch. Also saves me messing with asound file.
Think this maybe a jack2 feature only?
I don't use Pulse but when I tried it the pavucontrol volume control made switching cards a breeze. Obviously if you can't get audioadapter working nicely maybe there could be an option to be able to switch card from Panel Icon which would load a Jack setup and Ladish studio that connects that card and sets up its patch.
(Obviously I am mainly talking about playback here, but I guess capture is another issue especially when trying to track using multiple unlocked sound cards - I can imagine people doing that and all the clock drift errors there would be. Maybe a warning could be added about clock drift).
What do you think?
Kind Regards,
Gry.
