Request for PD-extended and...

Hi--
New to KXStudio and this forum, so apologies if this isn't the right place. I take criticism quite well! Erm, I mean as long as it's productive.
So, yes-- I think that PD-Extended should be supported in KXStudio repos. PD-Vanilla is okay but extended makes it wayyyy better and I specifically have an application designed for extended I'd like to use.
The ellipses are for a not-music-related app I'd like to request. I wanna play around with Alchemy. It looks cool.
Okay, that's it. PD-EXTENDEDDDDDDD soimportantprettypleasegodispenthourstryingtocompilemyselftonoavail.

I did, however, find out how to install Alchemy, although it took some tweaking and hunting down error solutions:

Still not having any luck with this, and I don't appreciate answers to questions that are condescending. Of
course it's not in the repositories. Otherwise, I wouldn't have asked.
I did a little more searching, and apparently this is an Ubuntu issue-- pd-extended has been missing for some time. That led me to find this:
http://puredata.info/docs/faq/debian
Which did work for
installing pd-extended, but then there are more issues-- it is not connecting to Jack and I'm getting an I/O error. Which of course is not a question for this board but puredata's I think. Jesus I just want my frigging extended.
This sucks.
Well, at least if someone else is looking for the answer, maybe they'll find this and save themselves about 8 hours of board hunting. >:[

Okay, I'll definitely check with the pd folks! If they can do it Raspberry Pi... haha.

(maybe there's already a PPA for this?)
http://puredata.info/docs/faq/debian mentions ppa:eighthave/pd-extended

Yep, this is the repo to use if you want pd-extended. If you want puredata vanilla, use the packages that come from upstream (debian).
