KXstudio 14.04 DMX6Fire USB Upmix

Hi, Community,
sorry my English is not good, I'm a German. I use Linux since Ubuntu 7.04 and fixed my problems mostly with reading forums and manuals. Now I build a CarPc with KXStudio and my problem makes my crazy. Soundcard is an Terratec DMX6Fire USB, specially Alsa driver is installed.
The Soundsystem is only Alsa and Jack (no Pulseaudio) The DMX6Fire is running only in Stereo with two Channels. In Catia I can connect manually the 6 Channels to the Hardware Playback (such a duplicate Function). How can I tell my System a running upmix/Duplicate Function. I had testet many configurations in the .asoundrc but not one is running for upmix duplicate. I use the Alsa-Loop-Jack Bridge.

Players like VLC and Mplayer only Play Stereo directly to system playback (seen in Catia) in Stereo.

Sorry my brain is smoking, I'm a absolutely Greenhorn in configurating Jack and .asoundrc.

What Code I have to post to recieve effective help?

Can you give a Newbee Tipps in the right direction?

If I knew what you want / Wenn ich nur wüsste, was Du willst

- Jack clients usually connect their output to system/playback_1 and _2
- ALSA clients can be redirected to jack with an appropriate ~/.asoundrc or /etc/asound.conf , e.g.

So if you want to connect the output of ALSA clients you can do it by replacing system:playback_1 and _2 by other jack inputs.

Automatically connecting jack clients' output to something different (maybe to a jack_mixer) is difficult. I've found no solution by now.

Hi, Thanks for your answer. My Problem is to upmix the stereo signal to all 6 Channels of my soundcard. Two channels have sound output, but the other four don't play any sound. I had many configurations testet, but nothing works with more than two channels.

If i started the mplayer with a surround testmovie there also only two channels (mplayer is set for 6 channels). I want to use in the car a six-channel Amplifier. Movies should play surround and music should be upmixed or better stereo duplicate to all 6 channels.

Ich glaub, ich kann dir Deutsch schreiben? Also nochmal kurz. Kxstudio mit Jack läuft, aber alles in Stereo. Ich kriegs einfach nicht hin mein Audiosignal auf alle 6 Kanäle der DMX6Fire zu übertragen.
Einzig die manuelle Verbindung in Catia funktioniert als Quasi-Stereo-Duplicate. Das macht aber keinen Sinn jedes mal nach anschalten des Rechners manuelle Verbindungen zu ziehen. Filme sollten im Surround Modus laufen und Musik auf alle 6 Kanäle "kopiert" werden. Also Stereo mit links und rechts je drei Kanäle.

Ich hab zwar mit Linux schon viel gemacht, aber beim aufsetzten eines Audiosystem bis jetzt nicht viel Ahnung.

Ich poste am Wochenende mal meine .asoundrc. Der Rechner liegt aber gerade im Auto.
