Hallo,
I installed KX-Studio from the live DVD. I am using transcribe! from http://www.seventhstring.com witch depends on GStreamer when loading Videos. Within a fresh installed KX-Studio trancribe ans Smplayer won't play mp4 - Videos. I tried to fix it as described here:

and installed ffmpeg from https://launchpad.net/~jon-samrog131/+archive/ppa and gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg but nothing changes.
I tried out this fix In Ubuntu Studio a couple of days before and it works, but not in KX-Studio. Does anyone kow how to fix it?

Thank you fast answering my post. I I've checked the issue again and and find out, that the videofile i tried to play was corrupt! I tried another one and all works fine. So thank you again and have a nice day!
