Presenting myself and my project

I have been involved in music since 1994, had a break of about ten years in between.
The music was very experimental, electro to (euro) dance.
After the break, I went in search for what I wanted to make. After several years of trying out, I started in January with the "Suppliers of Navigational Instruments' project, mixing industrial sounds with sounds of everyday and natural sounds. The style varies from dark ambient, industrial to noise and experimental.
The intention is not to focus on dark noises only.

I keep my equipment very basic:
Zoom H1, Oxygen 49 USB Midi Keyboard Controller, Tango Studio 10.04, Linux MultiMedia Studio, Audacity, Yamaha Audiogram3 USB Audio Interface and Kurzweil KS40A.

In my signature you will find the official site where you can listen to this project.

Greetings to everyone.

Why Tango Studio? For me, KXStudio is the best since providing awesome stuff like Carla and Claudia.

The reason is, in fact, very practical. It is the only version that runs very smoothly on my six year old portable. If I go higher than 10.04 I must always start with nomodeset and acpi = off otherwise I do not see anything. As a result, power management and other will not work.
I can not fully install KXStudion 10.04 on Ubuntu 10.04. The repository KXStudio is not fully accessible anymore.
I still like Tango Studio. Sometimes I'll try something else, but it always end that I install TS back.
Maybe if I renew my computer that I change the distribution.
Some things do seem better organized and streamlined in newer versions.
But then one makes do with what one has.
