M-Audio Fast Track

Will this work with Linux? Maybe that's the reason I'm getting no sound whatsoever in LMMS.

Looks like the Fast Track Mk II. One mic in, one guitar in, headphone out, three knobs on top, speaker outs in the back.

I had a M-Audio Fast Track Pro and sold it because after some hours it started cyloning and the sound became noisier and noisier. A powercycle fixed it in most cases for an hour. Some Windows users seem to have the same problem.
Then I bought a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. Works like a charm.
