Compiling LMMS for Jack2

Not sure if this is the best place for this. Here it goes though. I am running Debian Wheezy with the KXstudio repos. The version of LMMS included is a bit old and there is a key feature in newer versions I want to be able to use, specifically export track functionality. So I downloaded the latest stable source figured I would compile the latest version.

So after a whole bunch of making sure I had dev packages for the latest dependencies it came down to if I wanted Jack support it would have to be Jack1. On my desktop I elected to compile without Jack support for now. Everything is fine. However I really do want to add jack support particularly when I repeat these steps on my laptop but I also use Claudia extensively for live setups so I need Jack2. So I guess I am trying to figure out if there is a way to compile LMMS for jack2?

I now can't believe I did not even think about trying that. After spending a whole bunch of time installing other header files why did I not do that. OK I will give that a try. Thank you.

Just to be clear I really didn't think about that, that was not sarcasm at you, it was sarcasm at me for such an omission. Just so I am not misunderstood.
