clean install KXStudio_14.04b_64bit no sound

Hi All,

I opened a flac file in audacity and it looks like it's playing just fine but there is no sound.

I've never seen loopback after giving this command before. Is it supposed to be there? Should it be first? I don't have the Delta 44 hooked up so I'd like to use the HDA-Intel.
Any help or clues would be greatly appreciated.

That did the trick! I still have no sound in audacity but if I remember correctly, it doesn't use jack.

restart the alsa jack bridge. when you stop jack through cadence you have to start the alsa bridge or you wont get sound through any non jack aware program.

I run jack full time and audacity and any other program not using jack works.
