Hello. I'm JohnnyLee from the USA currently. I'm a graduate student in Physics, and I enjoy playing music and using Linux. I'm just getting started using Linux for audio, and I wrote a sampler that I recently released, available here: http://www.johnnylee.org/jlsampler/.

A sampler written in Go, no less... can't say I'm a fan of the language but this is interesting nonetheless. I'll definitely try it out sometime!

Thanks, I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

I'm not sure how I feel about Go as a language. I find that it's quite a productive language, due in no small part to the standard library and simple dependency management. The reluctance of the designers to take on generics and meta-programming is a bit off-putting, and C library integration is clunky at best.

I'm keeping my eye on Nimrod for the future.
