Vox ToneLabST, patchage, Rakarrack question

Hi,
I'm trying to get my Vox TonelabST connected and working with Rakarrack and patchage.
The ToneLab is recognized by Audacity, and it shows up in patchage as MIDI1, I don't know why.
My setup is like this: electric guitar > TonelabST (via USB) > PC running Ubuntu Studio
Here's my patchage screen:

In this configuration I can hear my voice through the PC speakers, but not the guitar.
Is the ToneLab being recognized correctly? Maybe that is the issue. Any help here greatly appreciated.
thanks,
takayuki

did you change the interface? you have to change the input/output devices in qjackctl or cadence.

No, total dummy here. Can you take a look at my Jack settings and tell me what I should do?:
Interface: HDA Intel (hw:0), ALC269 Analog (hw:0,0), ToneLabST (hw:1) or USB Audio (hw:1,0) ?
Dither: None?
Audio: Duplex?
Input Device: HDA Intel (hw:0), ALC269 Analog (hw:0,0), ToneLabST (hw:1) or USB Audio (hw:1,0) ?
Output Device: HDA Intel (hw:0), ALC269 Analog (hw:0,0), ToneLabST (hw:1) or USB Audio (hw:1,0) ?
Input Channels: default
Output Channels: default
Input Latency: default
Output Latency: default

HDA Intel (hw:0) is your onboard soundcard and ToneLabST (hw:1) is the pedal's. If you want to connect your guitar to the computer through the ToneLab then the input should be set to ToneLabST (hw:1). If the ToneLab has an output jack that you want to use then you should set the output to ToneLabST (hw:1) too, but if you just want to listen through your computer then set it to HDA Intel (hw:0) or default.

Tatch,
thanks to your tips I got Jack working with Audacity. I really appreciate it.
In Jack prefs, I set input: Tonelab HW:1, everything else default. now I've got sound coming thru the computer to my headphones, which is a big deal for me!

and I can record in Audacity (I set the Host to Jack Audio Connection Kit in Audacity prefs.)
next thing is to get Rakarrack going!
regards,
takayuki
