Hi all!
I've been working with musescore+linuxsampler for a few little pieces that I'm composing. I'm usually out of my house for a few days, so I bring my netbook with me. In the past I used github to sync some custom patches I apply to dwm and some other stuff...
How do you keep your work in sync? It would be mainly plain text files, so I don't need a whole cloud storage software (and I don't appreciate non-free stuff like dropbox).
Thank you a lot!
How do you sync your projects between workstations?

It's a thing about reachability. If none of the machines has a fixed ip address (by your provider or a v4/v6-tunnelprovider) then you need some kind of server. That could be a service like Dropbox or a self-hosted service like Owncloud. Or a rsync server.
I have an OpenVPN based VPN between my house and the flat where I am on some workdays. And I have some fixed addresses (ipv4 and ipv6). So rsync and Owncloud are my choices.
