I realize this is a bit off the original topic but this also will hang Qtractor in a regular session or an NSM session.

I never was able to redeem the session above but in my case the problem was caused by the SetBFree organ LV2, it works great in Ardour3 but it doesn't seem to love Qtractor much at the present time, creating an identical session without SetBFree resulted in Qtractor being a very functional Instrument host using DSSI instruments and Calf Fluidsynth with MIDI Automation of some plugin parameters... tutorial video coming soon..

I’ve tried a test session with SetBfree in Qtractor and it generated a s**tload of Xruns before crashing Qtractor altogether. At least it doesn’t freeze on startup. Not much of an advantage, but it doesn’t prevent Qtractor from starting – and that’s a plus.
