Uf i go to format again i can't see the light in this.
Any tips? im going to use a dvd iso of debian 7.3

Do you mean the light on the Saffire pro labelled LKD? This indicates if the unit is synced to a source, either internally or to an external digital device.

If you turn the Saffire pro on before turning on your computer, this light should be green, indicating it is locked internally.

the FW light turn on when is syncronized with the pc, in windows is invisible because you got the drivers and is always on.
i gonna start again
at the end ive formated with a ubuntu studio 12.04 x64 what ive found, i cant find any other i don´t know what i did with them and i have no more dvd´s :cry:

Yes, the FW light means that the pc is talking to the interface over the firewire bus.

Are you turning on your Saffire pro before starting your computer?

Im back
i reinstalled with a ubuntu studio 12.04 and i changed back to a kxstudio, is the deepest update i do to a system, i have to say wow you are doing a very good job here, the welcome screen for restoring is brilliant. i dont know witch desktop prefer debian or kxstudio is a big deal, i love it, ill stay in kx.

Ok to the point.
i think i know what is the problem here, and must be a bug or a fail design or something, i look for that before fixing it.

All of this repeated entrys i don't remember that from my old mother board when detecting the pci-firewire. And i think each one has a diferent IRQ
the thing is what is detecting 31 firewire ports then ffado breaks when connecting to a false one, how we can se in the lshw are two types of entrys

i have tested: hw1, fw1, -firewire:1, fw:31, -firewire:31
with no luck

I've opened another post here, because i'm thinking it is a bug and its not related with the post.
