After upgrade Ardour 3 this happens:

$ ardour3
/usr/bin/ardour3: 53: exec: /opt/ardour3/bin/ardour-3.5.74: not found

in /opt...

$ /opt/ardour3/bin/ardour-3.5.143
/opt/ardour3/bin/ardour-3.5.143: error while loading shared libraries: libardourcp.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

no problem if I downgrade to ardour-3.5.74

Folks can work around this in the meantime by copying the script /usr/bin/ardour3 to your local directory and modifying it to change the hardcoded lines that reference

$INSTALL_DIR/bin/ardour-3.5.74

to instead refer to

$INSTALL_DIR/bin/ardour-3.5.143
