Edirol FA-101 not working with jack

Hallo Linux Musicians-
I'm getting confused right now 'cause my just baught Edirol FA-101 will not work on my Dell Latitude. It has done it's job for about one week but after a DU and some test on RT-kernel I cannot get it to work.
The system:
Debian sid distro called Aptosid with KDE on a 3.12.6 kernel low latency
ffado-dbus-server, -mixer, -tools 2.1.0svn2436-1
libfado2
libraw1394-11 2.1.0-1
libavc1394-o 0.5.4-2
libdc1394- 22 2.2.1-2
jackd 5
jackd2-firewire, libjack-jack2-0 1.9.9.5+20130622git...

The system had worked with jack, mixxx and Ardour 3.0 with a 32ms latency :( (512, 3, 48000 with RT 80 and d-bus enabled) when first start ffado-dbus-server and than ffado-mixer in a user-terminal. I could get the connection to qjackctl and also the channel- configuration to Mixxx and Ardour3.
Now I cannot even get the connection from qjackctl to jkmeter, while the messagebox in qjackctl says that jack is working and up, the channels firewire-pcm are shown in the connections- window, but it seems, that there will be no connection to the d-bus. jkmeter says- jack is not running. In Mixxx is not possible to connect to jack at all, only to alsa.
Jack and the needed programms are working with alsa and the onboard-sound-card. When I use firewire after I start qjackctl I also get the message from ffado-mixer that it has lost connection to d-bus.

Can anybody give me a hand to get it work?
Thanks a lot!!

:D It is working again! Ihad just made a fresh installation of the system, installed the necessary ffado-mixer and jackd-firewire-driver with synaptic (all dependencies were installed automatically), same to qjackctl and it's working again. The latency is still not the best (samplerate= 512 / 32ms), but with no xruns at the moment. With a samplerate set to 256 jack will get no connection. For d-jaying with mixxx it will be enough and for rekording and playback one can only work with direkt hardware- monitoring.
What's confusing is that the ffado-dbus-server is not showing any hardware information at first, but when you start the ffado-mixer you will get inofrmations about not working samplerates on each channel! One just has to ignore this messages, same to messages from ffado-mixer while working with qjackctl.
So, maybe with more finetuning, using rt-kernel, irq-tuning and also a different distribution without kde it will become better in this case of latency.

Does anyone knows if the focurite saffire interfaces are more faster in latency out of the box? Samplerates near 64 will be enough for me! I startet small studio-recording on a pci creative audigy2 ext with my pc and it works with a samplerate 64 out of the box with no speciell kernel- and rt-tuning, enough for me for playback/record.

I will watch this post in case anybody needs help on this hardware.

Have fun! ;-)
