Midi tracks with synth plugin:

I usually record a clip with the notes and a separate clip with pitch bend, vibrato and so on. In Rosegarden I can place clips in a track one above the other. Please see track "DX/Trumpet":

In Qtractor they get layered:

Is there a way to place them one above the other?

I tried to put the clip with the controller data in a separate track but then I can't route the midi data to the track with the synth plugin.

layered clips, when fine with them, should be merged into one (cf Clip/Merge...)

nb. qtractor is unlike rg, not even close to a3, let alone anything else
