Yes, NYC. I'm new to recording on Linux, and it's taking me a bit of time to grab the curve. I do voice over/narration, along with hosting a couple if internet radio shows. I'm a traumatic brain injury survivor, which makes this a bit frustrating for me, but, hey. I'm functional.

Welcome. There are a lot of tools available with Linux that could be useful for what you do. You might already know about Audacity and others. Folks here are usually pretty helpful I have found.
