Trying to get Ardour 3.3 running.
Jack seems to work with everything else I use (guitarix, various synths, VSTs, etc)
But when Ardour starts up I get this

[ERROR]: JACK: Cannot use real-time scheduling (RR/5)(1: Operation not permitted)
[ERROR]: JACK: JackClient::AcquireSelfRealTime error
[ERROR]: JACK: Cannot create thread res = 1

Any advice?

Indeed, probably the user with which you're logged in doesn't have the privileges to use real-time scheduling - the 'audio' group often has that permission, so adding your user to that might help (you need to log out and back in after that).

If that doesn't help read up on limits.conf
