Ideas for screencasts(tutorials) on Ardour?

Hello!

Now that male has graciously fixed the screencasting-issues that's been around, and falktx has put together some nice scripts for KXstudio users, there's finally an easy and convenient way of doing screencasts!

I've been meaning to do some screencasts for quite a while, and now that it's possible, I'm interested in if there's anything in particular people would like to see. Since what I know some of is Ardour I guess there's where I can hopefully contribute something. So, any ideas on what might be interesting to see?

Thanks!

Don't forget to include some comic relief while you wait for Ardour to finish starting up and hide its splashscreen, which typically takes quite a bit longer than loading an entire session in Non:

I think one that would attract more sample/loop-centric users would be automation. Perhaps another should be sequencing in A3 using copy paste, deep copy vs shallow copy of midi regions, editing velocity etc. Finally I request a tutorial on how to make my music sound good ;)

Anything will be great, its awesome that you're thinking about this.

@male, hm I think you should let users make such statements. In other words, I doubt if an thread about screencasting Ardour is the right place to tell about potential strong points of an other DAW, especially not if you wrote it yourself. Plenty space here on board to start a thread about the startup time of NON.

after some more thought, some basic production techniques that showoff various plugins and Ardour itsself I think would be great. I.e. vocal processing, or ducking, doubling guitar etc. These are the type of things newer people are likely to search and are less likely to be married to their current proprietary DAWs and OSs.
